This week at Tranquil Treatments, massage therapy, Norfolk

18th January 2016 – 24th January 2016

It seems that this blogging thing actually works as I have seen an increase in phone calls and emails coming through my website over the past few weeks so again this week I have had the pleasure of meeting some new clients. I have also been posting on Facebook a bit more too and this has been generating more work, you can have a look at my page Tranquil Treatments.

So, what have I been up to this week? Well on Monday I met with a Hypnotherapist to discuss how we might be able to work together for the benefit of our clients. Monday night was my fortnightly jaunt to Bungay for my regular clients. This week was a bit different though because the wife decided instead of a full body massage, she wanted a back, face and scalp massage for an hour. My client really enjoyed her treatment.
On Tuesday I met with a lady who does Reflexology and another massage therapist. It was great to get some ideas and help each other with our businesses.
On Thursday I had a mobile client in Norwich. I see this client on a regular basis, sometimes once a week or once a fortnight. She has various health conditions and she has found that massage helps her to keep going with her every day life.
Friday and Saturday were spent in my therapy room in Hempnall Green, near Poringland. I had a new client on Friday who had a 45 minute back massage. She was amazed how many tense and tight areas I found. We have now found the areas that need targeting and the client has re-booked so we can tackle these areas.
Again, it has been a mixture of therapies this week, Thai Foot Massage, Hydrotherm back massage, back massages and back, face and scalp massages.

Most popular treatment of the week.
Back massage is the winner this week, both 30 minutes and 45 minutes. Clients have had various reasons for having a back massage including:

  • slip disc issues from years ago are starting to niggle at the back now,
  • previous injuries that sometimes need a bit of work to loosen off tight muscles which is causing pain or discomfort
  • their occupation can result in tight upper backs, shoulders and neck issues.
